Our outstanding teaching, a strong sense of community encompassing excellent pastoral care and unrivalled facilities means that children at King’s St Alban’s thrive.
We offer competitive sport, a wide variety of music and outdoor education, all complemented by clubs, visits and visitors that enrich the academic curriculum.
Our excellent fee-inclusive wraparound care is available from 7.45am until 6.00pm. Children in the Junior School can have a cooked breakfast before school starts and all year groups can take part in one of our many after-school clubs. From Year Three onwards those who are not taking part in a club can complete their homework in Late Room and then relax with a game or watch a film until they are collected. In fact many pupils choose to spend time in Late Room so that they can complete their homework before going home, making time available to spend as a family once they leave at the end of the day.
Pupils’ excellent behaviour, courtesy and consideration towards others are notably features of the school, as is their readiness to offer themselves for positions of responsibility or service to the community. Pupils are proud to belong to one of the King’s schools and enjoy being at their school.
