For Ages Four to Seven

Places in the Pre-Preparatory Department (Reception and Years 1 and 2) are offered subject to a morning spent in school. Those interested should register and arrangements will then be made for your child to visit school. Please contact the Louise Robins (Registrar) on 01905 354906 for further information.

For Ages Seven to Eleven

If you would like your child to join us at King's St Alban's in Years 3 to 7, then the next step is to register for our Entrance Day. Our teaching staff will all be on hand and we work with the children in small groups; it is not a question of pass or fail, but of whether each child will thrive at King's.

There is time for a break with a drink and a snack in the morning and a home cooked meal at lunch time. There is no need for special preparation - the English and maths will be familiar and is worked through orally with the younger children. There is time to practise some Verbal Reasoning questions and the children soon get the hang of it. All tests are age standardised. The experience is organised so that the children bounce out feeling that they have had a successful day.

Please contact Louise Robins, our Registrar, on 01905 354906 as soon as possible should you be seeking entry to the school in September 2017.
