Each year King’s St Alban’s holds an entrance test day in February, for all children looking to join in Years 3 – 6 in the following September.

The entrance testing date for entry in September 2018 is Saturday 3rd February 2018.

Pre-Prep Entry: Age 4 - 7

Places in the Pre-Prep Department (Reception- Year 2) are offered subject to a morning spent in school. Those interested must register and arrangements will then be made for your child to visit the school. Please contact the Louise Robins (Registrar) on 01905 354906 for further information.

Junior School Entry: Age 7 - 11

Places in the Junior School are offered subject to passing our entrance tests. There is no need for special preparation - the English and maths will be familiar and is worked through orally with the younger children. There is time to practise some verbal reasoning questions and the children soon get the hang of it. All tests are age standardised. There is time for a break with a drink and a snack in the morning and a home cooked meal at lunch time. The experience is organised so that the children bounce out feeling that they have had a successful day.

During our Entrance Day, our teaching staff are on hand and will work with the children in small groups; it is not a question of pass or fail, but of whether each child will thrive at King's.

Please contact Louise Robins, Registrar on 01905 354906 lrobins@ksw.org.uk as soon as possible should you be seeking entry to the school in the current academic year (September 2017 - July 2018).
