Liz Elliott, Foundation Development Director

Liz oversees Foundation Development Office activity at King's and is well placed to do so, as she is an Old Vigornian herself (Co 82-84). She joined the office in September 2016 following a successful career in the hospitality industry. The King's School Foundation Development Office has two clear aims: in the first instance, we endeavour to create, maintain and enhance the strong links between the school and its wider community via a number of means, whether this be in the form of regular reunions of our former pupils and staff, pupil/OV career talks, social events, school lectures or consultation groups. Secondly, the Development Office works with key individuals, who wish to make a real difference by donating towards identified projects for the school. Going forwards, our focus is on building an Enduring Fund to provide bursary places across the school for pupils, who would not otherwise be able to attend King's. In doing so, the whole school and its community will experience the benefits. King's is a very special place, as witnessed and affirmed by so many of our community and our work in the Development Office is to ensure that our alumni and wider community continue that there will always be a place for them at King's.

Sophie Borillo-McLellan, Head of Alumni Relations

Sophie has joined the Development Office from Malvern Theatres, where she led several successful projects and campaigns focused on engaging the Theatre’s community and building strong relationships with supporters.
At King’s she will be responsible for fostering alumni relations that will build and strengthen relationships between the School and its community of over 14,00 former pupils, parents, staff, and donors in order to maximise alumni interest in and engagement with the school.

Alice Peirce, Development Assistant

Alice is the new Development Assistant at King’s. She moved to Worcester last year from West Sussex and is involved with her local churches here in the city. Alice will support the smooth running of the Development Office and is looking forward to getting involved in organising some of the exciting events.
