School meals are provided for all of our children in the Dining Hall. Meals are cooked on the premises in our recently refurbished kitchen by school catering staff.
Children are offered a choice of two hot meals, one being vegetarian or a pasta bar meal each day. In addition there is a salad bar and a choice of sandwiches. Kindergarten and reception children are served at their tables and there is a reduced choice to these year groups as they often find the choice overwhelming. Older children are taught the importance of choosing a balanced meal and we monitor this to ensure they are not selecting unsuitable combinations.
At morning break, we offer fruit to everyone, along with milk or water. Those children staying after school are given a sandwich, cake or treat to provide additional energy at the end of the day.
