Additional fees
INDIVIDUAL MUSIC FEES
Qualified teachers visit the school for piano, strings, wind and percussion instruments. The fees are £136.00 for 10 lessons. Notice of the intention to give up an instrument must be given one term in advance. Pupils hiring school instruments will be charged at £10.00 per term.
There is a 10% reduction for third and 15% for the fourth, (please note that if the 3rd or 4th sibling is in Kindergarten, these reductions only apply to Kindergarten pupils who attend full time).
SCHOOL FEES PROTECTION SCHEME (SFPS)
The purpose of this scheme is to refund fees when a pupil is unable to attend school for more than four days through illness. Where the Scheme is offered to parents on an 'Opt-out' basis, Accidental Death of the 'Fee Payer' is covered for up to three terms. Therefore the school has decided to offer this Scheme to parents on an 'Opt Out' basis. Whilst clearly allowing the parents the opportunity not to participate, you are asked to delete the charges from your account if you do not wish to participate thereby assuming full responsibility for any loss of fees incurred through sickness or accident. The Scheme is not open to children in the Kindergarten as the fees are on a sessional basis.
PUPILS PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
The premium is £5.00 per term for this academic year. We continue to recommend that all pupils should be covered by this scheme and the premium will be added to all bills unless we are advised accordingly.
PAYMENT OF FEES BY STANDING ORDER
School bills may be paid by monthly Standing Order, over ten months from September to June of each academic year. There is a termly charge of £15 per child for using this facility. The Governors do reserve the right to withdraw this facility where agreed sums are not paid on the due dates, in which case all outstanding amounts due will become payable immediately.
LATE PAYMENT OF FEES
The Governors reserve the right to make late payment charges composed of interest calculated as a rate of 1% of the outstanding balance per month.
LOSS OF SCHOOL DAYS
No allowance in respect of school fees will be made in the event of enforced closure of the school due to causes outside the school control (e.g. snow or electrical failure).
