World Book Day
All the children at King's St. Alban's celebrated World Book Day by dressing as their favourite character.
A beautiful sunny morning was the perfect way to start our World Book Day celebrations. Apart from the bright sun, the children's eyes were dazzled by a bright orange Mr Tickle wobbling across the playground!

There was a plethora of wonderful costumes from the many characters of Harry Potter to Dennis the Menace and the Mad Hatter. Prizes were awarded for the best costume in each class, although these were very difficult decisions to make as all the children had put in such a good effort.
Thank you to everyone who entered into the spirit of the day and really made our favourite book characters come to life – it turned out to be a very special, fun-filled event!
