Science Week 2010

Science Week at Hawford proves a big success. For the first week of March Hawford is given over to all things scientific, with a range of visits to sites of interest such as Ironbridge and Gloucester Docks and a rich offering of scientific and desgn technology challenges during lessons. The Canal, the Salwarpe and the Severn provided a great deal of focus as the children tested the purity of the water while others grappled with a range of technological challenges that required team work and ingenuity to overcome.

The week is an important one within our school year and involves all of the children. The pictures show the water sampling and also the visit of the Kinetic Theatre Company.
