The Trust
The King's School Development Trust was set up in 1968 to encourage philanthropic support for the King's School and to augment the funds available for bursaries and capital projects.
It is a registered charity (no. 527530) and the trustees are representative of all areas of the school community.
In 2002 a full time Foundation Development Office (FDO) was established to set up a long-term fundraising programme.
Since that time, the Trust has raised over £5 million and has greatly contributed to the provision of means-tested bursaries throughout the School and to some of the major capital projects that have happened during the last seven years.
