Life at King's St Alban's

At King's St Alban's we have an equal mix of girls and boys and of male and female staff. In the junior school ten small classes of academically able children aged 7-11 enjoy an education enriched by the facilities and staff of the adjacent senior school. Activity beyond the classroom abounds - competitive sport, a wide variety of music and outdoor education, all complemented by clubs, visits and visitors that enrich the academic curriculum. In September 2009 we opened a new, purpose built pre-preparatory department catering for children aged 4-7 in three additional classes. This new department shares some junior school specialist staff and facilities, including the swimming pool and IT suite, but has its own spacious hall ideal for sport, creative activities, assembly and dining. Sixteen places are available for children to join Reception in September 2010, when there may also be some space in Year 2.
Arrange to come and visit us on a normal working day. Meet some of the children and staff. Judge for yourself how every girl and boy is helped to make the most of their talents.
