2011 Leavers' Parents' Drinks
After the sun decided to come out on Thursday afternoon the parents of the 2011 Upper Sixth Leavers were able to enjoy the drinks party hosted by the Headmaster in the glorious school gardens!
It was a very happy evening where parents were able to catch up with each other and some of their childrens' teachers before they make the transition from parents of pupils to parents of OVs at the end of next week.
The Headmaster spoke to parents and highlighted the importance of the King's School community and the benefits that staying in touch can bring to the recent leavers' gap year plans, university careers, work experience and careers advice both now and in a few years time.
It is always a sad moment for the Headmaster to say farewell to Upper Sixth parents and he stressed that although this may be the end of their time as parents of pupils at King's, it is by no means the end of their association with King's and he urges them to stay in touch.
We wish our 2011 leavers and their parents all the very best in their future endeavours and we look forward to welcoming OVs and their parents back to the five year reunion in 2016!
