City of London Drinks

The Headmaster and members of the City Leadership Group hosted the City of London Drinks at The Engine Rooms, Tower Bridge on Thursday 3rd March 2011.

More than sixty OVs who work in finance or law attended the event and it provided them with an opportunity to catch up with each other and the school in a relaxed and informal setting.

The Chairman of our Leadership Group, John Weston, introduced the Headmaster who went on to talk about the ways in which OVs can support the school. He highlighted the importance of careers advice and work experience opportunities as well as the financial support.

Guests were given a King's CD containing a photo slideshow of King's in pictures, a list of OVs involved in finance and law, a calendar of events and ways to support King's. If you would like a copy of the CD please email development@ksw.org.uk and we will arrange for one to be sent to you.

This was the first of a number of events which we hope to hold over the coming few months so do keep an eye on the OV calendar for these events and make a note of anything that is of interest in your diary.
