Year of 2005 Five Year Reunion

Year of 2005 Five Year Reunion

A reunion drinks party was held in the School Gardens for the leavers of 2005 on Saturday, 4th September 2010 to celebrate five years since leaving King's. The event was kindly hosted by the Headmaster and his wife Mary-Anne.

With the help of Julie Best, development trustee and parent of 2005 and Sophie James, former Head Girl (S 97-05), we were able to welcome back over ninety OVs and former parents to the school and we spent the evening catching up with old friends.

OVs were delighted to see a few of their former teachers and they would like to thank them all for taking the time out of their Saturday evenings to come along.

A few of the guests also had a look around some of the new facilities which have been built since 2005; including the new art block and the Library.

We enjoyed a few words from the Headmaster, who noted that the year of 2005 began in the Lower Fourth the same year that he started at King's, making the evening even more special.

It was fantastic to have such a large number of the year group together again and everybody thoroughly enjoyed catching up and being back at the school.
