700k walk by Janet Maxwell-Stewart (Hon OV) in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action

Alasdair and Janet Maxwell-Stewart (Hon OV 95-08) plan to walk 700km through the Vosges and Jura from Wissembourg to Nyon this summer, carrying a tent and accompanied by their rather ancient dog, who has her own backpack! They hope to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Action, in support of a dear friend and mother of an OV, who has been diagnosed with the illness. Should anyone feel able to donate to this cause they should look at their page on the JustGiving site and can follow their exploits on Facebook. They start walking on 11th July and expect to finish at the beginning of September.
