Concert in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind and CLIC
Shulah Oliver (K 93-00) organised a fundraising concert in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind and CLIC Sargent on Thursday, 22nd April in College Hall.
has raised nearly £25,000 for Guide Dogs for the Blind by giving recitals and busking in Worcester at Christmas and this year she is also raising money for CLIC Sargent (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood) as the young son of Nick Glossop (Os 80-86) was diagnosed with terminal cancer . CLIC Sargent has been a great support and comfort to the family at this very difficult time.
The programme included Smetena – Aus der Heimat (From My Homeland); Schumann – Sonata No.1 in a minor and Saint-Saens – Rondo Capricioso.
