Helping Bletchley Park
Jason Gorman (Cl 82-89) and more than 50 other people(so far) have pledged one day's pay to help save WWII code-breaking heritage site Bletchley Park. Intelligence gathered at Bletchley Park played a decisive role in ending the war and saving millions of lives. It was also the home of the world's first electronic programmable computer, built by a team from BT in 1943. Jason and other supporters hope to raise a decent chunk of the £1 million needed in the next year to secure Bletchley Park's future and make it the world-class heritage centre it deserves to be.
