Martin Loveless (Cr 54-64) who ran his first marathon for 'Hope and Homes for Children'.

George Ballard (Ch 97-02): "I was in the same year as Scott Rennie who was Head Boy in 2002 and sadly died last March aged 25. Scott was a good friend of mine and for that reason I have decided to run the London Marathon this year in memory of Scott and raise money for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young." Tim Boswell (W 85-92) ran for Macmillan Cancer Support. Tim has been writing a blog throughout the training and he is raising funds here – www.virginmoneygiving.com/timboswell . Tim says "For once, working early mornings on the breakfast show has been an advantage, as there's been plenty of time – and daylight – for training runs in the afternoon ! " TIm has raised over £700 and has been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. He has also entered the ballot for next year too.
