Support my Movember Campaign .... by Sean Kearon (Ca 64-69)

In the hot summer of 1976 everything and everybody looked wonderful.

One Saturday, that was another perfect crystal clear day, I had a swim in the Serpentine in Hyde Park; everything was perfect, the sky was blue, there was lots of positive energy in the air and I was feeling really good. Nothing could be better. I was 25 and more than my fair share of things were going well for me. I was probably feeling just a little too cocky as I lay on the grass to dry off, conscious of some bright young scantily clad lovelies nearby. THEN, as I absorbed the sun, I looked down and my blood froze. 'No it can't be!' But it was! A grey hair on my chest! What did it mean? Would I be totally grey by the time I was thirty? How low could it get? Did it mean I would be dead by fifty?........

Well, I have made 60. I still have some hair on my head, although virtually if not every hair is 'highlighted.' I still have one or two dark hairs on my chest. The big question is ...... what would my beautiful dark 1976 moustache look like in 2011? Might I find one or two dark patches?? Well, it's nearly Movember, the month formerly known as November, now dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men's health; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. I'm donating my top lip to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men's health. My Mo will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancer's affecting men.

1976 (1979 really)....................just how grey will it be on November 30th 2011? Photo will reveal all on Nov 30th.

Why men's health?
* 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
* 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime
* 26% of men are less likely to go the doctor compared to women

I'm asking you to support my Movember campaign by making a donation by:-

Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to help change the face of men's health and have a bit of fun.
