OV Cricket Club

The Cricket Club plays throughout the summer. OVs, husbands, wives and friends are all welcome to join. For further information or to contact the club go to the OVCC website.

2010 has been an extremely successful one for the OVCC, culminating in promotion to Division Three of the Worcestershire League for both first and second XIs. End of season awards were given to Nick Major (S 92-02), Tom Lea (K 95-04), Andrew Judd (Ch 55-66) and Will Lucas (W 04-11). Nick Major had a record breaking year. He was the first player to score more than 1000 runs in a season for more than twenty years. He is the first ever to achieve the feat before August and he scored more centuries (four) than any other player has in a single season in the club's history.We are hoping to stage a cricket match against Mordialloc CC in Melbourne on December 28th or 29th.
