We are sorry to announce the death of Michael Hawksworth Lawrence Drew (Cl 50-59) on 22nd April 2010 in the Philippines following a stroke whilst on holiday. A celebration of Mike's life was held at Worcester Crematorium on Thursday 27th May. He will be sadly missed by his cousins, the rest of his family and many friends.
He learnt his Mathematics from Richard Knight and became Head of Mathematics at Bristol Grammar School where he taught from 1963 to 1992.
He appeared on Channel Four's Countdown on 29th March 1993.
