Scott Rennie (Br 93-02)

We are deeply saddened to announce the tragic news that Scott Rennie (Br 93-02 and Head of School 01-02) died suddenly on Friday, 6th March. He had been training at Molesey Boat Club.

Tim Keyes, Headmaster, said: "We remember him as a delightful boy, a good friend to many in his year, an outstanding Head of School and someone who was likely to excel in whatever he decided to do in life."

On 25th May Richard Morris (W 91-02), Ollie Smith (Cl 97-02), Will Rimell (W 95-02), Simon Lowth (W 91-02), Olivia Brown (Ch 93-02), Keira Lapsley (K 97-02), Paul Hallett (Os 97-02) along with Steve Rennie, Stevie Rennie, Lee Rennie and Scott's girlfriend Gemma Banks, ran the BUPA London 10k for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).   Keira wrote:

"Scott was a formidable athlete (expected and training for the GB rowing team in 2012) and will undoubtedly be watching our struggle with a mixture of pride and laughter. He was a genuine, considerate and loyal person and we are still in shock as to why he was taken from us so soon. This is our way of demonstrating the impact he had on our lives and honouring his name; as well as raising money for a little known but extremely worthwhile charity: CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

They are looking to drum up as much support as possible for CRY so please visit www.justgiving.com/bigren10k.
