Current Projects
We will keep you updated on our fund-raising progress throughout the year.
Recent fund-raising has enabled the Parents' Committee to fund some landscaping work of the area next to the School Library which will include a seating area, together with the purchase of a new PA system for the Pre-Prep Hall at King's St Alban's.
Our next major fund-raising project will be contributing towards the furnishing and decoration of the Sixth Form Centre within the School's new SPACE development, which will be used by so many of the children as they progress through the school.
Past Projects
We have recently provided funding for the refurbishment of and new equipment for the Old Chapel near Crickhowell
in the Brecon Beacons. This facility is used extensively by pupils young
and old across all the 3 schools and the new kitchen will benefit the
entire school community for many years to come.
Before this we made a substantial contribution towards the provision of the stylish glass-roofed shelter alongside the dining room. This provides a very welcome refuge from the elements for all using the dining room and theatre on a daily basis.
Prior to that, funding was provided for the new air circulation project in the theatre. This major undertaking has significantly improved the theatre environment for both players and audience alike.
Each year, the Parents' Committee raises thousands of pounds for the benefit of local charities as well as the school.
