U'11 Netball squad at National Finals
As a result of their success in regional finals that involved almost 150 schools nationwide, the King's St. Alban's U'11 Netball squad qualified for the national finals of the Independent Prep. Schools' Association competition.

Harvesting at Roots of Rushwick
The children in the Reception class at King's St. Alban's have been finding out all about Harvest and what better way than getting stuck into a Harvest at Roots at Rushwick.

Harvest Festival
The Pre-prep Harvest Festival involved all the children in a celebration of our good fortune. Families from both the Pre-prep and the Junior School created a wonderful display of harvest gifts in both the Hall and the Chapel.

Year 3 visit to Smite Farm
Within a few minutes of arriving at Worcester Wildlife Trust's Educational Centre at Smite Farm in Worcester, Year Three were challenged, just like the three little pigs, to make shelters from sticks that were strong enough to withstand the huffing and puffing of a very hungry wolf.

At the start of their first full week in the junior school all the children in Year 3 visited the Nunnery Wood Countryside Centre.

Year 4 Storyteller
In the second week of the new school year all the children in Year 4 spent the day together with professional storyteller Lenny Alsop.

Year 5 Top Barn Activity Day
The three Year 5 classes spent a day at the Top Barn Activity Centre taking part in team building exercises designed to build firm relationships across the year and, in particular, to integrate the children new to the school.

Year 5 Tudor House Workshop: Building a Tudor House
In the normal course of things, one might expect Year 5 to visit a Tudor House as part of their Art and History curriculum. Had any parent read that a Tudor House was to visit Year 5; a few raised eyebrows might be expected.

Year 6 Architecture Workshop
All the children in Year 6 experienced an Architecture Workshop last week as an introduction to this half-term's Art, Design and Technology Project.

Riding Camp
Sixteen children from Years 4-6 set off after school last Friday evening for Pegasus Riding Stables where the school Riding Club is based.
