Life at King's St Alban's

At King's St Alban's we have an equal mix of girls and boys and of male and female staff.  In September 2009 we opened a new, purpose built pre-preparatory department catering for children aged 4-7 in three additional classes.  The department shares some junior school specialist staff and facilities, including the swimming pool and IT suite, but has its own spacious hall ideal for sport, creative activities, assembly and dining.  Sixteen places are available for children to join Reception each September.  There is a waiting list for 2012 and places are now being allocated for 2013.  Some places are still available in Year 1 and Year 2 for 2012.  In the junior school ten small classes of academically able children aged 7-11 enjoy an education enriched by the facilities and staff of the adjacent senior school.   King's St. Alban's is also home to the boy Choristers at Worcester Cathedral.  Activity beyond the classroom abounds - competitive sport, a wide variety of music and outdoor education, all complemented by clubs, visits and visitors that enrich the academic curriculum. We offer excellent fee-inclusive wrap around care from 8.00am until 5.50pm. The children can take part in one of our many clubs or complete their homework in our late room.

Arrange to come and visit us on a normal working day. Meet some of the children and staff. Judge for yourself how every girl and boy is helped to make the most of their talents.
