Pastoral Care

At King's St. Alban's great emphasis is placed upon pastoral care and the development of the whole child. The School provides:
- Clear moral values.
- High behavioural expectations.
- Partnership between teachers and parents.
- Breadth and challenge beyond the classroom to complement academic rigor.
- Leadership opportunities.
- Approachable support staff: including two Matrons & on-site Caretaker
High quality communication between home and school is central to our care of each child. Detailed written reports are produced in December and July and parent-teacher evenings scheduled every term but it is not necessary to await a formal opportunity to discuss a child's progress - informal contact with staff is easily achieved and open, frequent communication encouraged.
"The high quality of pastoral care, support and guidance stems from the teachers' knowledge of the pupils as individuals and the action taken to help them make the most of their talents. Arrangements to safeguard pupils' health, safety and well-being are very good."
