King's School Worcester

The Trust

The King's School Development Trust was set up in 1968 to help to support the strategic vision for the development of the King's school.

It is a registered charity (no. 527530) and the Trustees are representative of all areas of the school community.

In 2002 a full time Foundation Development Office (FDO) was established to support this role by fostering relationships with other members of the King's community , involving those who share the vision for the school and encouraging these people to help us to realise this vision through financial support.

Since that time, the Trust has raised over £6 million and has greatly contributed to two key areas for the school's development:

- Social Mobility through the provision of means-tested bursaries throughout the School
- Sustainable Development through the investment in high quality new buildings and the renovation of the existing historic buildings.
