Bursaries

The King's Worcester choir

Historically up to 50% of King's pupils benefited from a Direct Grant 'Free Place' or financial help from the government-run Assisted Places Scheme. Perhaps you were one of them.

Despite the abolition of this scheme over a decade ago, the School is committed to continuing to provide as many means-tested bursary places as possible to replace the opportunities this scheme afforded.

Currently up to a third of students receive some sort of fees assistance through scholarships, awards and bursaries. The Development Trust is providing funding for the equivalent of 13 full-fee bursaries, 7 of these are for 100% fees.

You can find out how these pupils got on last year by viewing the
Foundation Award Pupil Newsletter 2009-10.
