2006 Five Year Reunion

On Saturday, 10th September we welcomed seventy 2006 leavers and their parents back to King's for drinks hosted by the Headmaster.

We had decided to hold it in the Chappel Memorial Room after Worcester had been forecast rain showers all day and I was beginning to regret that decision as 6:30 approached and I hadn't seen a single drop of rain! However, at 6:30 (and near enough on the dot) the heavens opened and I was satisfied that the glamorous girls of 2006 and their male counterparts were grateful not to be sheltering under a gazebo in the school gardens after all!

It was a very happy occasion where OVs and their parents were able to catch up with their former Headmaster, a few teachers and each other and it is clear to see that the 2006 leavers remain a well-bonded group!

We were particularly encouraged that so many OVs have been able to secure jobs in their chosen careers or that many are still studying and it was great to hear from parents about their time since King's too.

Thank you to everybody who came and made the event such a success, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
