Art

The trips organised by the Art Department for examination pupils, form an important part of our critical and contextual studies programme. GCSE pupils spend 5 days in St. Ives, Cornwall where they visit the Tate Gallery, smaller galleries and artists' studios. Internationally known artists run practical workshops and deliver slide lectures in the hotel each evening. A Level students have the opportunity to visit galleries throughout England and in European cities such as Paris, Nice, Barcelona and Amsterdam. Our next visit will be to New York.
