Combined Cadet Force

The CCF - Combined Cadet Force - is available to Year 9 and above, although Year 8 can join in the Summer Term.
The CCF meets on Fridays, as well as weekend activities and competitions and is made up of two sections: an Army section and an RAF section. Both sections parade in uniform, all of which, with the exception of boots, is provided on loan by the contingent.
The contingent runs a Friday evening Exercise, an Overnight Exercise, a Range Day and a day's Adventure Training each term; in addition to this, the RAF section goes flying two or three times a term during the school week. We also enter District and Brigade competitions each term and the contingent runs four camps in the school holidays
