Hockey
Hockey is played by all girls from Year 7 to Sixth Form. They play in their games afternoons in the Autumn and Spring terms. Training takes place weekly after school, with matches in Games lessons and after school with block fixtures on Saturdays. The girls get the opportunity to play in matches on a weekly basis throughout the Autumn Term. This is the main hockey term but training continues throughout the Spring Term with occasional fixtures.
King's participates in the local district and county tournaments and is frequently highly placed; over a number of years our teams have qualified for the Midlands finals.
Mondays - 1st XI and 2nd XI 4.15 - 5.15pm at UCW
Thursdays - U12 and U13 Squads 4.15 - 5.15pm at UCW
Fridays - U14 and U15 Squads 4.15 - 5.15pm at UCW
In the Spring or netball term the training takes place on two nights; seniors on Mondays and Juniors on Thursdays.
