Social events & Fund raising

The boat club holds a number of events throughout the year. Some are purely social events, whilst others aim to raise money for new equipment, kit, training camps or for charity. Photos above include the recent Parents learn to row scheme. This helps raise money but also allows parents to row with their children and have some fun getting to grips... how hard can it be??

KSWBC Dinner

The Boat Club Dinner for the 2010-11 season will be held at Worcester County Cricket Ground on Sunday 3rd July Contact Miss Lawson for more information. Parents and pupils are welcome - it's a great opportunity for parents to meet up aswell as allowing pupils to celebrate their year of rowing!

The event is FULL. Sorry if you missed out! Book early next year!

KSWBC Regatta

The KSW regatta is an opportunity for past and present pupils to race against their fellow rowers. It is a full family affair, as a BBQ, hot and cold drinks & cakes (any help with provision of cakes is always appreciated!) as well as ice cream is available for friends and family to enjoy in between races.

·         The day starts at 10.30am with registration and formation of racing crews.

·         Racing starts at about 11.15am & finishes by 3pm

·         BBQ etc start at noon.

It is a great opportunity for parents to meet up and enjoy the glorious sunshine whilst watching some great races (a seat is sometimes a good idea too)

 Parents Learn to Row

Following the success of the last few years, the Boat Club may be running a Learn to Row scheme in the summer term for the parents and friends of the boat club.
