2024/2025 Fee Statement

Following the recent announcement by Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, about the introduction of VAT at 20% on Independent School fees from the 1^st January 2025, the Governing Body at King’s Worcester has confirmed that the King’s Worcester Foundation of Schools will not be changing their current fee levels for the whole of this academic year.  

School fees across the three schools, King’s Worcester, King’s St Alban’s Prep School and King’s Hawford Prep School, will be held at the current published rates for the 2024/25 academic year. This means that the amount payable per term will not change, whatever changes are made to the VAT rate during this period.

Earlier this year, the Governing Body announced that fee increases for 2025/26 would be capped at 10%, including the effect of VAT, assuming that inflation does not rise above 3.8%.

Chair of Governors, Pat Preston added, “Through careful management and strategic planning, the Governing Body is committed to ensuring an excellent educational experience which is both high quality and value for money. Our School would not be what it is without the continued support of our parents and guardians and we extend grateful thanks to them.”
