Old Vigornians

Former pupils of The King’s School are called Old Vigornians (OVs); the name is taken from Vigornia, the Latin word for Worcester.

When you leave the school, you automatically become an OV and join a network of over seven thousand former pupils of The King’s School, Worcester. Staff who have taught at the school for more than five years are also awarded Honorary OV status.

The Foundation Development and Alumni Relations team are here to help you stay in touch with each other and the school. We provide a clear, central point of contact within King’s and we emphasise to all our former pupils the importance of the OV network. It is one of the most valuable resources open to our pupils and it’s key to stay in touch to reap the benefits.

Old Vigornian events

In order to keep you connected, we organise a range of events throughout the year, both OV-specific and for the wider community. If these events are not convenient for you, you are always welcome to drop in for a tour if ever you find yourself in Worcester. Please make your way to reception and someone will come and meet you.

Old Vigornian publications

In addition to events, OVs, Honorary OVs and friends of the school receive a free copy of "Connect" magazine twice a year. We also send e-Connect, a termly bulletin, to all of you with email addresses three times a year. If you have not received this and would like to, please email development@ksw.org.uk
