A Flying Start to the Cross-Country Season

The Junior Girls (Years 7 and 8), Junior Boys (Years 7 and 8) and Inter Girls (Years 9 and 10) teams had a great start to the cross-country season in the English Schools’ Athletic Association (ESSA) Cross-Country Cup, a competition where every place matters, as you compete for points for the team.

King’s put on a fantastic performance across the board. Congratulations to the Junior Girls who finished second, the Inter Girls who finished joint second and the Junior Boys who finished third. A special mention to Evie HJ, Jamie L, Lottie K, Mille D and Henry H for their top 8 finishes in their respective age groups. It was great to see every pupil not only try their hardest around the course, but also be so supportive of their teammates in the other age groups.
