OV James Green (Br 05-12) has been recognised by the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 list for 2022, in the Venture Capital section.
The Forbes 30 under 30 is published annually, acknowledging those people under 30 years old who are making their mark, and changing the world, in their selected industry.
At King’s, James was a keen rower and was Captain of Boats as well as Head of Bright House. He went onto Harvard University to study Cognitive Neuroscience, where he also continued his rowing. James remained Stateside and launched his career as an analyst for Insight Partners in New York.
James said, “These days I live in Palo Alto, California, and I work at CRV, which is an early-stage venture capital firm that has been around for 51 years and backed companies like Doordash, Twitter, Dropbox etc. I invest in companies from the earliest stages in fintech, developer tools and B2B software.
“I recently moved to California after spending the last four years mostly between Brooklyn, NY, and living nomadically during the pandemic. The 30 under 30 award is really just a reflection of the people I have been privileged enough to work with over the past five years and a statement of more to come. It means a lot to shine a light on all the amazing work that the founders do and that I get to support every day, so for that I’m grateful.
“On the personal side, I just completed my first Half-Ironman and am planning my wedding for next year!”
Congratulations, James, this is a well deserved accolade!
