A Week of Triumphs: Celebrating Success and Hard Work in Assembly!
We’re thrilled to celebrate a fantastic week of accomplishments here at King’s Hawford!
Our students have shown tremendous skill, commitment, and enthusiasm across various fields, from sports to academics, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Student Achievements
- Cricket Stars: A huge congratulations to Marnie, Millie, Lyra, Jasmine, Charlotte, and Florrie for being selected to represent the Worcester County Cricket team! This is an incredible opportunity, and we look forward to watching them excel this season as they showcase their skills and teamwork on the field.
- Thea E: Recently awarded a medal and certificate for her dedication in a challenging triathlon event. Her hard work and endurance truly shine, and this recognition is well-deserved!
- Alanna A: Earned two gold medals with her group dances and a bronze for her solo debut at the West Midlands Dance Competition. Alanna’s talent and dedication are inspiring, and she’s already hard at work preparing for her next challenge: the England Dance Finals in July 2026. We wish her the best of luck in her journey!
- Cassian W: Selected for the U9 County Tennis Squad, Cassian is a rising star in both tennis and football. At the West Worcestershire Football Camp, he was awarded the “Star” trophy for his positive attitude, energy, and contributions on the field. Well done, Cassian, for being such a dynamic sportsman!
- Clancy N: Proud recipient of the Arena Markers Award, along with a rosette and certificate. This recognition reflects her commitment and determination, and we’re excited to see what she achieves next!
- Arlo H: Congratulations to Arlo for earning his Level 2 swimming certificate. His dedication to improving his skills in the water is commendable, and we’re thrilled to see his hard work pay off!
- Maddie P: Recognized for her excellent work in gymnastics, Maddie received a well-deserved medal. Her dedication and persistence are truly impressive, and we’re excited to see her continue to thrive in the sport.
- Harry J: Celebrating his achievements with a collection of skiing medals, Harry’s commitment to excellence is truly inspiring. Harry was award 3rd place in U12 and 2nd place in the Winter Race League.

Headmaster’s Awards (HMA’s) of the Week
The following students have earned the Headmaster’s Awards this week:
- Johannes K and Jasmine O for their impressive WWII fact file. Their research and attention to detail have made a complex subject come alive, showing a deep understanding of history.
- George A, Daisy E, and Casper H for their outstanding piece of assessed writing. Their creativity, thoughtfulness, and skill in writing impressed everyone!
- Sadie G for her exceptional independent work in Maths, specifically her work on addition with exchange. Her dedication to mastering mathematical concepts is evident, and we are so proud of her achievements.
Birthday Celebrations
This week, we’re also celebrating birthdays for Alanna, Harry J, Olivia P, Trixie, Archie G, Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Redman, and Mrs. Gregory—who is celebrating a very special birthday! We wish them all a wonderful year ahead filled with joy and success.
