Adventure Day for Year 6

On Monday, Year 6 enjoyed another fun-filled adventure day packed full of exciting activities.  In the morning, the children were given a top-secret mission and had to gain clues by completing a variety of challenges. Their coordination, communication skills and co-operation were tested and cries of frustration and triumph could be heard across the playground. The children enjoyed each challenge and were thrilled to complete ‘Mission Possible’ with WiseUp Teambuilding. It was excellent to see the children working so well together and displaying some excellent team work.

After a picnic lunch on the quad, the children set off along the canal heading for their afternoon of climbing. Whilst some scaled the heights at Vertical Limits, others took on the challenges of Red Point. Throughout the afternoon, the children showed tremendous perseverance, strength and determination as so many reached the top. Some impressive climbing skills were observed during the afternoon on both climbing and bouldering walls. As always, the children were a pleasure and their behaviour throughout adventure day was exemplary.
