Aquathlon Adventure: Pupils rise to the Challenge

On Friday afternoon, our pupils took part in an exciting Open Water Aquathlon at Watersedge in Bishampton, alongside pupils from King’s Hawford. Set against a beautiful outdoor backdrop, the event offered a real test of stamina and determination. The challenge began with a bracing swim in the open water lake, requiring real courage and composure. As soon as they emerged from the water, the pupils had to quickly transition, pulling on trainers and a top, before setting off on a 1-kilometre run around the surrounding fields.

The atmosphere was filled with energy, and our pupils rose to the challenge brilliantly. Each one gave their absolute best, pushing through the physical demands of the event with determination and resilience. It was fantastic to see the encouragement they gave each other and the pride they took in completing the race.

A special congratulations goes to Thea, who delivered a fantastic performance and placed first in the U10 Girls category, a tremendous achievement!

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils who represented our school with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and bravery. Taking part in a demanding dual-discipline event like an aquathlon is no small feat, and every participant can be proud of what they accomplished.

Well done to everyone, a fantastic effort all round!
