Autumn Adventures in Nursery

This week in nursery has been full of exciting autumn-themed activities! Children have been exploring the beloved story of The Little Red Hen, which inspired a range of creative and hands-on fun.

The children enjoyed cutting and sticking colourful red hen pictures, playing with corn, and even trying their hand at baking bread, just like in the story. It was a wonderful way for them to learn about teamwork and the joy of making something together.

The autumn fun continued with exploring pumpkins, both inside and out! The children were fascinated by the different textures, and some were even brave enough to touch the squishy insides. This sensory activity sparked a lot of curiosity and conversation, making it a favourite moment of the week.

In recognition of #HelloYellow World Mental Health Day, the children dressed in yellow, brightening up the nursery with a cheerful splash of colour. It was a great opportunity to discuss the importance of kindness and caring for each other with the children.

This has been a week filled with learning, laughter, and seasonal fun.
