Bronze Arts Award Achieved Remotely by L4 pupils

Huge congratulations to Rosie B and Sonali P both in the L4 who this week have successfully gained their Bronze Arts Award.

The certificate they have now earned is a Level 1 qualification – equivalent to a low-grade GCSE – no mean feat for pupils in Year 7! What is more remarkable is that Rosie and Sonali have completed their portfolios independently remotely and have had them successfully converted to a digital format to allow Trinity College London to assess them online.

Rosie and Sonali (pictured below delivering their presentations earlier this year) have become the flag bearers for this year’s Arts Award cohort. Our Bronze, Silver and Gold students continue to work tirelessly from home with the support of their Arts Award Advisers. Most are poised to convert their portfolios by the end of this month and we are keeping our fingers crossed for successful moderation in July. Watch this space for news of the next wave of Arts Award achievement!
