Celebrating Leadership Roles in Year 6
Our new Prefects and Heads of School have been announced! These leadership positions will be held by Year 6 students, with each role being carried out for half the academic year.
The role of a prefect is a vital part of our school community, offering both leadership opportunities and a chance for pupils to contribute positively to their school environment. Prefects act as role models and provide pupils with a unique platform to develop meaningful life skills, such as responsibility, communication, and teamwork, which are crucial for their future academic and professional lives.
Our prefects will take on various responsibilities, from assisting in school events and helping with the smooth running of daily activities, to mentoring younger students and promoting a sense of community. Their leadership inspires younger students to aspire to similar roles, encouraging a culture of excellence and participation.
Additionally, the prefect role within King’s St Alban’s allows students to cultivate their decision-making and problem-solving skills as they handle situations independently or as part of a team. It provides a platform to influence positive changes and contribute to the overall well-being of the school.
