Celebrating our Outstanding Achievements

After yesterday’s excitement of World Book Day, we were happy to all come together in The Barn for our weekly Celebration Assembly.

Proceedings got off to an extremely exciting start, as we welcomed the Old Hawfordians from Tuesday’s winning Challenge Cup team to assembly. Read more about this special visit here.

Our musical performances came from Jack, who played his own composition on the saxophone, and a duet from Abi and Daisy on piano and violin, respectively – we were all very impressed.

We stood to sing ‘I wish I knew’ before listening to Charlotte read the prayer.

We also enjoyed watching a Tenner Challenge advert for ‘The Cookie Monsters’, including a video from the Superball team from Big King’s! Well done to Elise, Amelie and Simi for this fantastic advert, and for securing balls signed by the Superball and Challenge Cup teams which will be used as raffle prizes.

Mr Butt presented a Pancake Race Certificate to Cleo M-S, who couldn’t collect it last week.

Achievements outside school

Alanna A was awarded three gold medals, four silver, one bronze and a specially commended fourth place at the Wyre Forest Dance competition, and is working her way towards the All England dance finals in Eastbourne in July.

Myla-Mae achieved her 20m swimming badge.

Ottillie D received a certificate for running the equivalent of a half marathon at park run.

Rose T and Trixie W received sitting trot certificates from their horse-riding lessons.
