Celebrating Success: Autumn Term Week 11

Thank you to former KSA pupil, Samantha, who opened our assembly with a beautiful ‘cello piece.  Hearing music played by a girl in full combat gear (today is CCF training for the Senior School) was certainly an eye opener for our Pre-Prep children!

Well done to Akshay, who is Reception’s Super Star for always being engaged and enthusiastic.  Henry is the Year 1 Super Star for working really hard in swimming and making great progress, while Elodie earned a certificate for focus, thanks to her independent working and maturity. Nell’s concentration in maths earned her a certificate for focus and Aubrey was Year 2’s Super Star, thanks to his confidence when singing a beautiful solo.  Greta was congratulated on her descriptive Space poem and Nell produced some excellent work on the tricky subject of division in maths.  Persie passed her gymnastics proficiency level 8 and proudly showed us her certificate, and Poppy received a round of applause for joining in with the Nativity rehearsals via video link from home earlier this week.

The children in 3A are reading Roald Dahl’s The Minpins and Mia, Ben, Emma, Yifei, Archie, Madie and Zara were congratulated on their super creative writing, using the book as inspiration. 6KB have also been busy producing some excellent creative writing, in particular Liv, Olivia, Izzy, Mea and Felix, who showed great understanding of character when continuing a story.  Well done and thank you to our Year 6 librarians for their hard work helping Mrs Atkinson keep our library in good order.  Liv, Olivia, Lex, Persephone, Ivy, Sam and Elin will receive their Librarian badges later today.  Mr Hooman was delighted with the Year 6 boys who represented KSA at the IAPS rugby festival at Ratcliffe School this week.  Well done to Aiden, Oliver, Harry, Eddie, Sam C, Lex, Sam R, Guy, Eamon and Patrick.
