Celebrating Success: Autumn Term Week 2
Despite Year 6 being away on a school trip this morning, we managed to celebrate some exceptional work today.
Reception:
Well done to Tiegan who earned a Focus certificate for her hard work and enthusiasm and to Hugo, who received a Superstar certificate for the effort he put in to his phonics work.
Year 1:
Daniel’s fantastic “Three Little Pigs” story earned him a certificate for Focus, Poppy was Year 1’s Superstar this week for giving her all in every subject and Iris received a Reading Challenge certificate. Well done also to Bertie for winning a medal in his recent fun run.
Year 2:
A certificate for Kindness was awarded to Greta for always including everyone and being a great friend and Henry received a Superstar certificate for his effort, enthusiasm and listening skills.
Year 3:
Maddie, Mark, Ben, Skye and Mia were all congratulated on their super writing about their summer holidays.
Year 4:
The children thoroughly enjoyed filling a truck (diagrammatically!) of all their favourite things and Karla, Charlotte, Jasper, Sam, Lily E and Alice proudly showed us their super work. Shreya and Martha were congratulated on the interesting verbs they chose in their vocabulary homework.
Year 5:
5P thoroughly enjoyed an extended writing exercise about their hobbies and interests, with super work from Ace, Jack, Izzy and Arthur.
Music and dance certificates:
Our budding pianists have been busy passing exams over the summer and this morning we congratulated Oliver, Henry S, Jack B, Harry, Scarlet and Izzy L who all passed with Merit. Well done also to Wilf for passing Grade 2 Cornet with Merit and Shreya for passing Grade 2 Violin with Merit. Marnie passed her Gold Rose ballet with honours and Charlotte passed her ballet duet exam.
