Celebrating Success Autumn Term Week 6

This morning we were treated to a wonderful performance by Daniel R (Y3), who sang the Skye Boat Song to start our Celebration Assembly. Daniel demonstrated great confidence to perform in front of his peers and teachers. Well done Daniel!

Pre-Prep Awards:

Year Two: This week Luna H achieved the Focus Award, and Leen I was the Class Superstar.

Year One: Rory S was praised for his kindness, and Ben P was the Class Superstar.

Reception: Nathaniel has impressed his teachers with his focus and Kitty S was named Class Superstar.

Year 2:

Year Two have had a super week. In French, they have been using Halloween vocabulary, and Thomas, Akshay, Tiegan and Magson have all impressed Mrs Kilbey with their efforts.

Year 3:

The Christian Creation Story has been one of the focuses of the week for our Year Three pupils. Well done to Rudy, Daisy, Amber, Daniel, George, Bertie, Savannah and Julietta for creating mind-maps about everything wonderful in the world.

Art Club:

Well done to Uriah, Cerys, Hannah and Beth for the wonderful artwork that they have produced this week in club. Mrs Cain was very impressed with your efforts.

5J:

This week Year Five have done some sterling work on the Solar System. Zara, Skye, Freddy, Arlo, Georgia, Isy, Ché-David, Luca and Brodie all created some outstanding postcards ‘home’ from a planet of their choice, giving facts about the planet they had ‘visited’.

5E:

5E have delved into the story of the Princes in the Tower this week. Crispin and George crafted some excellent wanted posters and Charlotte, Tilly, Madie, Isy and Ivy all produced some very creative ‘confession’ letters.

Times-Tables Awards:

Mr Chapman was delighted to award a large number of Bronze Times Tables Awards this week. Well done to all those who achieved their Bronze Certificates.

Year 6:

The U11 boys’ rugby team took part in the IAPS Rugby Tournament last week and Mr Chapman congratulated the boys on their performance. Well done to the team: Tom, Francis, Reuben, Monty, Joel, Henry, Otto, Ethan, TJ and Sam.

Cross-Country at Winterfold:

Well done to all the KSA athletes who represented the School at the Winterfold Cross-Country last Thursday: Otto, TJ, George B, Henry, Tom, Charlotte G, Georgia P, Skye and Ruqayyah. Massive congratulations must go to Helena, who took the silver medal in her race.

GYM Homework:

For the latest GYM Homework, pupils were challenged to do something around the theme of Magnificent Me.

Evie R created some lovely artwork, using watercolours and acrylic paint.

Hibah made a PowerPoint all about herself.

Emily got creative, using thumbprints to create some superb artwork.

Madie T researched her own family and produced a family tree.

Magson and Tiegan worked collaboratively to produce a board-game!

Ready Set Read Awards:

Well done to Archie M and George N, who received Ready Set Read awards.

Achievements Outside of School:

Well done to George C, who was awarded a golf certificate.

Elodie has been busy at gymnastics, gaining ribbons for floor and vault.

Last weekend, Charlie W took part in his very first rugby festival for Worcester Rugby Club and was awarded a medal for his efforts.
