Celebrating Achievements This Week!

Mr. Butt began the assembly by highlighting the success this week, celebrating some outstanding achievements from outside of school.

Celebrating Achievements Beyond School

Individual Achievements of success this week:

• Cleo and Dougie impressed everyone by walking an incredible 9 miles over the Easter holidays across the Malvern Hills, raising money for the Aston Villa Foundation—what a brilliant effort!
• Alexander S-C had a busy Easter, taking part in a Coventry Chess Tournament, representing Droitwich Rugby, giving a fantastic performance at Easter Camp—well done, Alexander!
• Jess K passed her Grade 2 Singing Exam—congratulations!
• William C took on his Grade 2 Piano Exam and, even after forgetting his music, performed the entire piece from memory—amazing resilience and talent!
• Adelyn K had a remarkable equestrian Easter. She competed in the British Riding Club Championships, placing 14th out of 80 riders in the 60cm event. Even more impressively, her junior team won the 70cm event! She also took part in a race at Cheltenham Racecourse, competing in the 128cm novice race and finishing in 6th place—an unforgettable experience!

Sports Awards – Catching Up on Last Term’s Celebrations

We also took the opportunity to present sports awards to pupils who were absent during the end-of-term Sports Assembly:

• Year 5 Girls – Most Improved Player of the Season: Indie B

• Year 4 Boys – Most Improved Footballer of the Season: Rupert T

• Year 3 Boys – Player of the Season: Frank O’M

We finished our assembly with a prayer and a Hymn and celebrated our birthdays this week to: Miss Kingston, Luca M, and Noah P, a very happy birthday to you all.
