County Netball Success 21/22 Season
Although it is still early in the season, many of our netball players have already completed trials to gain a place in the Worcestershire County pathway. We are delighted to share with you that several of our King’s Worcester athletes have been successful; they are:
U15 County
Upper Remove
Immy T
Georgia W
Millie D
Ruby C
Lower Remove
Clarisse C
Jess D
Bea W
Fen H
Eve H
U13 County
Ava T
Anna C
Abi C
Hattie W
(Several of our athletes are still awaiting a trial and this will happen at the first training session.)
The athletes will train once a week or every other week with County coaches, developing their technical skill, tactical awareness and also how to manage their time effectively whilst not playing netball. We wish them all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to seeing their development.
Lower Years Netball Festival
The first weekend of the school term saw over 50 Lower Years pupils attend the annual Netball Festival at the school pitches. It was brilliant to see the players enthusiasm for the sport, and the coaches are eager to see how the athletes develop throughout the season. This weekend the U13B and U12AB teams will travel for their first netball fixtures away to Wrekin College.
A reminder that Netball Club is open to everyone. This term netball clubs run as follows:
Monday U14 and U15 – 16.00 – 17.15
Tuesday U13 – 16.00 – 17.00
Thursday Seniors – 16.00 – 17.30
Friday U12 – 16.00 – 16.45
Friday Seniors – 16.00 – 17.15
