Creative Clay Sea Turtles in Year 1

Year 1 have been developing their artistic skills by learning a new clay technique, creating pinch pots! The children listened carefully to instructions and followed each step with great concentration, skilfully manipulating the clay to form their pinch pots.

They then used their creativity and modelling skills to make sphere and cylinder shapes, transforming their pinch pots into fantastic sea turtles. After patiently waiting for their creations to dry and harden, the children thoroughly enjoyed painting and decorating their turtles, bringing each one to life with colour and personality.

We were so impressed by the children’s perseverance, creativity and attention to detail throughout the project. Well done, Year 1, on your wonderful sea turtle sculptures!
