Prep Schools SENCO
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) to join our dynamic team at The King’s School, Worcester Foundation.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the ongoing provision of high-quality support and interventions for children aged 2-11 who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This position requires a comprehensive understanding of SEND policies, strong leadership and organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to create an inclusive learning environment.
This unique opportunity is split across our two Prep Schools, King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s. It will comprise of the working week spread across five days, with 2.5 days spent at King’s Hawford and 1.5 days at King’s St Alban’s, equating to a full time equivalent of 0.8.
Start date: 23rd February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, following the successful completion of pre-employment checks.

Kindergarten Manager (King's Hawford)
King’s Hawford Prep School is seeking to recruit a Kindergarten Manager to join and lead the team at our award winning, warm and nurturing nursery environment.
We are extremely proud that our King’s Hawford Kindergarten, alongside our King’s St Alban’s Nursery, has been ranked as one of the top nurseries in Worcestershire by parents on daynurseries.co.uk, testament to how our nurseries combine an enriching range of daily activities, exceptional facilities and dedicated childcare professionals.
We are looking for candidates with a passion for early years education and a calm natured and caring approach. If you are a confident leader, with experience of working in a supervisory role within a nursery setting, we would love to hear from you.
Working pattern and contract
The role is a permanent position, full-time, 40 hours per week, year round. Our Kindergarten is open from 7.45am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, and operates all year round (approximately 50 weeks in the year), with a shutdown period at Christmas and at the end of August.

Salary
Up to £34,042 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Learning Support Teaching Assistant (King's St Alban's)

The postholder will be an integral member of the learning support team, providing key interventions to children across the School. Working closely alongside the SENCO, they will support children with a range of additional needs. Dedicated Learning Support Assistant (King's Hawford)
We are looking for a Dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the King’s Hawford team to work with a Year 3 pupil who requires 1:1 individualised SEND support.

- Supervising and providing support for the individual pupil, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- Under the direction of the class teacher and using specialist knowledge or experience, supporting the pupil’s learning using strategies appropriate to their needs and following targets set out in the EHCP.
- Fostering strong relationships with the child, their parents, and colleagues.
- Supporting the pupil to access the wider curriculum, e.g. day trips or non-residentials, as required.
- Being proactive in matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, and health and safety.
We’re looking for applicants who can demonstrate:
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification and practical experience
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Experience of working with children with Autism is preferred.
