End of an Era as Dedicated Cleaner, Carol, Retires

Today, we said a fond farewell to Carol Webster, who leaves King’s after an incredible 21 years of dedicated service as part of our cleaning team.

Ben Charles, Head of Foundation, thanked Carol for her exceptional commitment to King’s and presented her with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of her long-standing contribution.

Carol’s presence and hard work will be greatly missed by everyone at King’s. We wish her all the very best and hope she enjoys a well-deserved period of relaxation.

Reflecting on her plans for the future, Carol said: “I certainly won’t be getting up at 5 am any more! I’ll enjoy a couple more hours in bed, and I’ll also be doing a lot of travelling in my camper van, particularly in Yorkshire, which is where I’m from.”

After more than two decades of dedication, Carol’s retirement marks the end of an era. Thank you, Carol, for all you have done for us!
